For a true sikh a mere glimpse, a mere sight, darshan, vision of the beloved Satguru is more precious than the boons of all the four Arthas: Arth, Dharam, Kaam and Mokh.

A true sikh loves the Satguru with all his mind, heart and soul. In intensity and purity of love he is only aware of his beloved Satguru. His separate individuality and identity is non-existent. He and his love have totally merged and disappeared in the beloved Satguru. In such intoxication of divine love, in such blissful state of Prema, boons of the kingdom of the world and of the kingdom of God are all taboos, trifle for him. He never craves for anything other than the pure selfless love of the Lord. No impurity can touch or contaminate the purity of his undiluted love. Such is the lofty and blissful spiritual state of a true sikh, of a true lover of God.

Such is the glory of Prem Ras. Nectar of divine love completely devours such great lovers of God and the purity of their love vibrantly radiates in the Eternal Glory and Love of their true Masters.

Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Page 432
Sri Guru Arjan Sahib says:
“The true love of the beloved does not end. It lasts in eternity through all the ages.”

Divine love, true Prema is not a transient state of mind or a temporary phenomenon. Prem Ras is a blissful state of soul in perpetuity; it is ecstasy of the soul in eternity. This love-relationship lasts through ages.

Sri Guru Arjan Sahib says:
“My beloved Lord, your words are full of Nectar
O Beloved Thou are the most beautiful Enticer
Thou pervade all yet uniquely distinct
I crave not for kingdom or salvation
My heart thirsts and yearns for the love
of Your Lotus Feet.”

Equality of vision - Preception of unity in diversity is the reward to such Divine Lovers by the Divine Guru. Jagat Guru Gobind Singh is the one Indivisible Unifying Principle underlying Cosmic Vision and Cosmic Love.

For a true sikh a mere glimpse, a mere sight, darshan, vision of the beloved Satguru is more precious than the boons of all the four Arthas: Arth, Dharam, Kaam and Mokh. True divine love, Prema is his only Artha, value of life, his sole Varna, his sole Ashram, his sole language, his sole religion, his sole boon, his sole purpose of life and his sole blissful death at the lotus feet of the beloved Satguru. Bliss of true love, of divine Prema is not momentary or transient. The blessed soul remains immersed in this Bliss through ages, through eternity. It is perpetual. It knows no break.

A true sikh is always floating in the Ocean of Prema Bhagti. He is totally possessed by Guru Bhagti, by all enveloping Prema of his beloved Guru. He is immersed in drinking the Nectar of this rare Prema by reciting and worshipping the Divine Name of his beloved Guru by tongue. He keeps on drinking this Nectar of Prema through his blessed eyes also by continuously envisioning the luminous form of his beloved Satguru. What he hears is also this Prem of the Guru, his melodious Nam. His heart is totally devoted to perpetual contemplation and meditation on Guru. Thus, totally merged in Guru's devotion, he envisions Guru only and nothing else. He envisions Guru in the whole creation. That is how Bhagat Namdev envisions his Gobind in the whole creation and Bhai Kanhayia and Bhai Nand Lal envision Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib in all alike.

Really blessed were Bhai Kanhayia and Bhai Nand Lal who adored and worshipped their Beloved Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, the son of the Great Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib as Supreme Reality pervading all existence, as the Soul of all souls and the Light of all eyes. To so behold and adore their Lord is their Supreme delight. They are certainly the best knowers of the Divine Essence.

Gur Data Samrath Gur Gur Sab Meh Rahia Samaaey
Gur Parmeshar Parbrahm Gur Dubda Laey Taraaey
Sri Guru Granth Sahib Page 49

“The Guru is the Supreme Data (Donor), He is Almighty and pervades all - (The Guru is the Indweller, the Light and the Soul of all Souls). The Guru is the Supreme Lord, the Almighty Parbrahm and the Saviour. He saves the drowning souls.”

Mera Satguru Sada Sada Na Away Na Jaey
O Abnashi Purakh Hai Sub Main Reha Samaey
Sri Guru Granth Sahib page 758-759

Guru Gobind Singh pervades the whole Universe. And the blessed Bhai Nand Lal Ji and Bhai Kanhayia behold their beloved Satguru in everyone and everywhere
